It looks like the Comes With Music edition of the Nokia 5610 also Comes With Crummy Screen, as T-Mobile has temporarily halted sales of the device in an attempt to discover the source of the problem.
T-Mobile aims to fix the fact that “a defective component in some units that may cause the LED display to go blank”.
Quite how many have been affected has not been confirmed, but Nokia and T-Mobile are aiming to get to the bottom of this problem as quickly as possible.
Good thing this didn’t happen with something as high-profile as the touch screen Nokia 5800, otherwise the torchbearers would have been out in force!
