Mpowerplayer this week announced the launch of Mplayit.com, a new Web portal catering to online consumers interested in finding out more about mobile games. Mplayit features free mobile game demos, including popular titles such as Spore and Guitar Hero, along with the ability to learn about games and publishers, read reviews, purchase games and to add and share the Mplayit widget anywhere online.

Consumers who visit Mplayit can play games on their PC to get a feel for the games. If you want to purchase you are currently directed to different merchant sites for fulfillment. There are about 60 games today with more coming soon.
We love to see new mobile game portals emerge because there still isn’t a great, comprehensive, portal to discover and buy mobile games, regardless of your specific device. Maybe Mplayit will take a leadership role here?
