Following on from the success of the INQ¹ ‘Facebook Phone’ on 3, manufacturer INQ is apparently in talks with ‘at least two major operators’ to make their handset available to even more people.
INQ boss Frank Meehan is understandably happy with their success, and states that the handset is still attracting ‘quite a bit of demand’ from other operators.
Speaking to Mobile Today, Meehan confirmed 2009 will be a good year for expanding their market share: ‘Talks with operators are going very well, and we definitely expect it to be available on other networks this year. We’re privately owned and well funded though, so we’re not in too much of a rush. The important thing is to get the right business.’
