Amazon continues to push a lot of cell phones, and inside sources say its a strong push this holiday season. The money you get from the monthly subscribers is probably pretty sweet.

Its interesting that they cannot sell the iPhone, yet Best Buy has been for some time. I understand you have to have ‘in store’ activation, and I ’suppose’ that is the big reason…damn, there would be more than 12 million iPhones out there if this requirement was not in place.

The phones on this list all include a plan from AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Tracfone and NET10 (what is that?). Of the top 24 phones, AT&T has 13, including the top 3. T-Mobile has 6, Verizon 3.

By the way, you can buy unlocked phones, too. Hundreds of them at last count. Amazon Unlocked Mobile Phones. Its interesting that Nokia holds spots 1 and 3 here (9 of 24 overall), yet there is only one Nokia model, Nokia 5610 XpressMusic Red Phone (T-Mobile)
, in the top 24 phones where you need a plan.
